The Can Melich Club was built in 1964 in Sant Just, 3 kilometres outside
Barcelona. The first squash court was inaugurated in 1979 and now the Club are proud owners of 12 courts. The Club offers various activities and sports such as tennis, paddle, fitness, aerobics, spinning, and now can boast a membership of 2500.

The ladies squash team are Spanish National Champions. They have won this title some 20 times since 1983 and also have gained 4 titles from the Queen´s Cup. In the European Team Championships they finished 4th in 1999 and 2000 this being the best results for the team since they first started to participate in European tournaments.
The team players are: Elisabet Sadó, Marta Ripoll, Patricia Piñol and Andrea Locke.
National champion in 2000 and 2001 Elisabet Sado is also a member of the Spanish national team.
